    With the upcoming Premiere Pro CC 2014.1 update, we’ll have a really powerful Free Draw Bezier, or pen tool built into all of our effects. This includes Lumetri Looks, and looks presets like Color reTooled. With this tool, we can mask, track, and even control the opacity of various effects. In this video, we look at the workflow of doing simple color correction using this new tool in combination with Color reTooled. We demonstrate how even a color correct novice, can quickly do advanced color grading right in Premiere Pro.

  • Direct Link between SpeedGrade CC and Premiere Pro CC

    With the introduction of the SpeedGrade CC 7.1 and Premiere Pro CC 7.1 Updates today, everyone will get their hands on the awesome new Direct Link feature between Premiere Pro and SpeedGrade. This feature allows us to quickly open a Premiere timeline directly in SpeedGrade do our color correction and then return to Premiere without having any of the complications of rendering, xmls, edls, or intermediate files. In my early testing, I can attest to the ease of the new workflow, but there is one caveat I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of.     Color reTooled is a collection of over 55 presets for Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe SpeedGrade CC.
