Premiere Pro CS6 – Hover Scrub

Premiere Pro CS6 brings about the addition of a beautiful new thumbnail display.  This feature, which includes the ability to scale your thumbnails from very small to large, also includes a new feature known as Hover Scrub.

This feature allows you to hover over your media to scrub the full duration of the clip.  Without ever bringing your clip into the source monitor,  you review your footage extremely quickly.  You can also set in points and out points as well as play your footage in the new thumbnail display. In this video we go over the various features found in Hover Scrub and how to enable or disable the feature.  It is a great editorial feature that feels hard to live without once you’ve used it on a few projects.
